Tired of the High Cost of Nursing and Assisted Living

The Kansas Commission on Veterans Affairs Office is here to help.
About 200 miles separates the Kansas Soldiers' Home in Ft. Dodge from the Kansas Veterans' Home in Winfield and while they are distinctly different in size and appearance, they both provide the same outstanding service to veterans and family members. Each can provide domiciliary or assisted living, long-term care, and special care for Alzheimer's and related dementia. As well as, specialized rehabilitative services such as skilled nursing, physical therapy and speech therapy. The local communities play a large part of the resident activities at both of these locations. As a benefit to qualified veterans, the monthly fees are significantly less than the national average for nursing and assisted living costs. The Soldiers' Home and The Veterans' Home are both great options to consider for your care and housing needs.
